This is a space dedicated to your well-being and transformation. As your guide and therapist, I'm here to take you along your healing journey. Together, we will work through difficulties with self-esteem, trauma, and anxiety, and engage in mindfulness and compassionate practices.

Integrative Therapy

I integrate different therapeutic models to meet each individual where they are at, including cognitive behavioural, emotionally focussed, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. In our journey, we will engage in transformative work, including connecting you to your thoughts, emotions, and parts of yourself that you may have locked away or forgotten. I will work with you to help you build awareness of patterns and develop a new relationship with yourself.

Mindfulness Practices

Mindfulness invites us to be present in the moment, cultivating awareness of ourselves, our patterns, and our body, without judgment. Through tailored mindfulness exercises, such as breathing, grounding, visualization, and insight, we'll explore techniques to anchor yourself in the now, connect to yourself, your body, and the present, build your self-concept, and alleviate fight-or-flight responses. Our past shapes us, and understanding those patterns is crucial for growth. Together, we'll explore your history, identifying recurring themes and behaviours. This exploration is not about dwelling on the past, but rather, about gaining insights that empower you to create a brighter future. Mindfulness and awareness are key elements in building resilience amidst life's challenges. 

Compassion-Focused Therapy

Self-compassion is the cornerstone of growth. Many individuals who suffer from anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma have harmful and destructive relationships with themselves. Through compassion-focused therapy, we'll nurture a kinder, gentler intra-relationship. Embracing self-compassion empowers you to face difficulties with resilience, fostering a positive mindset and a more fulfilling life.


What to Expect

Here is a step-by-step guide of what you can expect once you contact me:

  • Start by reaching out with a brief description of what you are looking for. I will respond within 1-2 business days.

  • We will connect over email or phone to book a 15-minute consult. A 15-minute consultation helps us learn more about each other, including identifying what you are hoping to work on in therapy, my approach to therapy, and ensuring that we are a good fit. Some clients opt for booking an initial session without the 15-minute consult, and that’s an option too!

  • Once our first session is booked, I will email you an intake form, consent form, and our meeting link. I ask that the forms be completed and returned to me at least 24 hours before our session to ensure I have time to review them.

  • Sign in to our meeting at our agreed-upon time. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other better and helps me learn more about your unique experience. Together we will create concrete goals, highlight areas for exploration, identify skills you would like to gain, and develop a “road map” for our work together.

  • And then, just like that, you have started your journey towards healing!

Our sessions are a safe space for open dialogue. You are the expert on your life, and I'm here to facilitate self-discovery, providing guidance and support. Each session is a step towards unlocking your potential and creating positive, lasting change.
